Automotive Radiator Assemblies

SCHERBRA GROUP prides itself on it's ability to supply quality radiator assemblies, not built to a price but built to a standard. We have seen so many poorly built units hit our shores and although these radiators may seem to work they will not cool as effective as a quality manufactured assemblies, and put unnecessary stress on the rest of the cooling system.

Coolants

Coolants are Different, Every make and models of vehicle has a specific requirement.

Manufactures specify which coolant is required and at what percentage.

Not all coolants are green, and each coolant has a different chemical makeup.

Coolants CANNOT be mixed together, this can cause a chemical cocktail, and destroy a radiator in weeks.

Before any coolant is added to the cooling system, a full flush should be carried out.

There are a number of coolants we can supply including, Corrosion only type treatments, ethylene glycol based coolants, OAT organic acid technology coolants & V Range to name a few. If in doubt of the correct coolant, refer to your vehicle manufactures handbook.

Radiator Caps

Radiator caps are available in different sizes, shapes & pressures, these caps are ofter overlooked and can be quite inexpensive to replace.

Thermostats

Many engine overheating issues and radiator failures can be contributed to the thermostat.

We have a full range available.

Hoses

As a general rule hoses should be replaced when they become hardend, or show signs of wear, either when visually examined or when pressure tested.

Water Pumps

Water pumps can sometimes be overlooked at the primary cause of radiator failure and overheating.

Water pumps can sometimes show signs of leakage, but may also fail internally at the impeller.
